Steps to Growth
Our Steps to Growth classes are a set of discipleship courses designed
to help you in the process of growing into a committed follower of Jesus Christ.
They are offered in succession throughout the year.
G1 Growing in Membership
 |
This is the first Step to Growth for those who are investigating the Christian faith, those who are new Christians, or who are new to The Chapel. By attending a G1class, like our New to The Chapel Class or Seminar, you will learn the basics of the Christian faith as well as the beliefs and ministries of The Chapel.
Basic Steps to Growing in Membership
• Consistent Worship Service Attendance
• Attend a New to the Chapel Class or Seminar
Advanced Steps to Growing in Membership
• Attend a New Believer's Small Group
• Water Baptism
• Church Membership

G2 Growing in Maturity
 |
The G2 class will take you further in your walk with Christ as you learn basic Christian disciplines. These include Bible reading and study, prayer, fellowship, worship, and witnessing. This course also investigates what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ, and the important doctrines of justification and sanctification. You will learn about Adult Bible Fellowships and Small Groups and be encouraged to get involved in one or both.
Basic Steps to Growing in Maturity
• Attend a G2 Growing in Maturity Class
• Join an Adult Bible Fellowship and/or a Small Group
Advanced Steps to Growing in Maturity
• Attend an elective class, i.e. Financial Peace University
• Attend a Bible Study, i.e. men's or women's study group

G3 Growing in Ministry - Sign up for the Growing in Ministry Class beginning March 7

Each believer has been given at least one spiritual gift to use to build up the body of Christ. In the G3 class you will learn about your spiritual gifts and your God given passions. By taking a spiritual gifts inventory and a personality inventory, you will be able to identify your gifts and passions. Once you’ve done this you will be able to find a ministry at The Chapel where you can best use your spiritual gift(s) and minister in your area(s) of passion.

• Attend a G3 Growing in Ministry Class
• Begin serving in ministry at The Chapel
Advanced Steps to Growing in Ministry
• Lead a ministry at The Chapel
• Attend training conferences or seminars with your ministry team

G4 Growing in Mission
 |
As Christians, we’ve been given a mission to accomplish by Jesus Christ; to make disciples of all nations. In the G4 class you will learn how to share the gospel with others and how to disciple other believers. You will also learn about The Chapel’s commitment to missions and how you can be involved in spreading the gospel locally and to the ends of the earth.

• Share the gospel with those around you
• Disciple another Christian
Advanced Steps to Growing in Mission
• Attend special classes on sharing your faith
• Go on a short-term mission trip
• Enter into full-time ministry
