Ladies, with a desire to meet the varied needs of women of The Chapel and our community, we are presenting several topics for study this fall. First we will gather as a large group to have our hearts and minds drawn to Jesus. Then we will spend 1-1/2 hours in small groups studying, discussing God's word, sharing prayer needs and praying together.
Childcare from birth to six years with age-appropriate programming to teach God's love is available. Please sign up as soon as possible so we can plan our children's program appropriately.
We would love to have you join us and invite a friend or neighbor. If you have any questions, please call Marla Hutchinson at 429-6334 or Catie Holt at 491-0808.
Following is a list of the topics that are available. Come with expectant hearts to receive personally from the Lord, and with a desire to share our lives with each other. It is our desire to "carry each other's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2).

As we raise our kids, God molds our hearts through the uplifting and challenging circumstances of parenting. Wrestling through the journey of motherhood will change us. Our goal is to allow God’s transforming work to make us more like Him and allow our families to bring glory to Christ. Sacred Parenting by Gary Thomas teaches how God uses children to shape our souls. Join us as we study God’s Word, pray, laugh and encourage each other as moms.
Preparation time: 1-2 hours a week, but very flexible for busy moms

Savvy—a Precepts study of the book of Proverbs. Wisdom seems elusive in an unhinged world where people see themselves as ultimate authorities, but God never meant for His children to be ignorant about how to live in any circumstance. Throughout His Word, the Bible, God calls His people to a better way—His Way! In the book of Proverbs He lays out thirty-one chapters of nitty-gritty, nuts-and-bolts, practical truth about life that works! In this study, you’ll learn to walk with confidence in a world of wolves, obeying Jesus’ command to be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.
Preparation time: Approximately 1 hour per week

Gideon’s story is one of courage in the face of insecurity and weakness. Are you facing something today in which you have need of some courage? Insecurity is not uncommon. You are not alone in this. Gideon encountered God Almighty in the midst of the challenges of everyday life. What this teaches us is that we also can seek God in our everyday tasks, and be open to how He might use them to prepare us for the future. God has a purpose for your life. He will use your weakness as a key to unlock His strength. Come join us for this study on Gideon and gain a new perspective of yourself and God.
This is a video-based study with weekly discussions and prayer time.
Preparation time: 30 minutes, five days per week

At the Chapel and in our community we come from many different backgrounds and church experiences, and can have many different perceptions of what God is like. This topical Biblical study examines who God is by examining what pleases Him. How do we know people intimately? We know them not just from what they say, but also from their actions and emotions. The things that bring a person pleasure is a significant part of knowing who they are as distinct and unique from others. We will use study questions and a meditation format that will guide us to dig deeply into the meaning of significant verses that tell us what pleases God through what God does and through our responses to Him. It is our desire that worship for our God and deep gratitude for our relationship with Him will be the result of our time together.
Each lesson is self-contained for those who may not be able to commit to every week. We also will focus on praying for each other’s needs for our mutual encouragement.
Preparation time: 30 minutes, four days a week
