Awana is a nondenominational youth ministry committed to “reaching boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and training them to serve Him.” The heartbeat of Awana is reaching children around the world with the good news that Jesus Christ loves them and can save them from sin. Each week, more than one million boys and girls in over 110 countries attend Awana clubs where they play games, memorize Bible verses and listen to Bible stories.

The weekly Awana clubs all work the same way. We offer a two hour club session with three segments: Game Time, Handbook Time and Council Time. During Game Time, boys and girls play games on the unique Awana Game Circle hidden in our sanctuary. In Handbook Time, children work through age-appropriate handbooks memorizing Bible verses and doing activities ranging from patriotism to community service. They earn awards based on their work. The final segment, Council Time, consists of singing, puppets, Bible stories and lessons based on Christian principles.

Awana meets Wednesday evenings from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
(October - April)

Sparky, the friendly firefly, will lead the way for children in Kindergarten - 2nd grade.  This program will include Bible teaching, worship, awards, games, and handbook activities.  They meet in room 112.

Truth and Training Clubs (T and T) are for boys and girls in grades 3 through 5 and are separated into a girls club (room 20) and a boys club (room 116).  Although the boys and girls in this program meet separately, their focus is the same:  teaching the truths of God's Word and training them to follow Jesus Christ in their daily lives.  T & T includes handbooks, a cast of characters, scripture memory, awards, games, and much more.

We also have a program for the younger children of our leaders.

New students can join at any time and begin with a starter pamphlet which they proceed through to earn their first book.
