What to Expect

What is Sunday Service like?

Both the 9:00 and 10:35 am services are identical. Each one is a blend of majestic hymns and worshipful choruses which will allow you to sing praises in a style in which you are comfortable. Sermons are Biblically based and contain relevant applications for you to think through during the week ahead.

We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of each month. If you know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, you are welcome to take part. At the same time, we will not make you feel uncomfortable if you choose not to.

How should I dress on Sunday?

There is no Sunday "dress code" at The Chapel. Many people come in very casual attire, as well as dresses, suits, and ties. Come as you are -- you won't feel out of place.

How much money do I need to give when the offering plate goes by?

Come for a visit and do not feel obligated to give anything, the members and regular attenders look after that.

What should I do with my kids?

On Sunday mornings (and during most events in general), we provide children's classes for all services.

We provide Sunday Schools for nursery through 5th grade and for adults on Sunday morning from 9:00-10:30, and again at 10:35-12:00. Go to our Information Center and a building guide will walk you to the right room.  Take a minute and check out the children's ministry page on this website as well.  For all other events, call the church office for information.

Our middle school (Illuminate) and high school (Fusion) classes only meet during the 9:00 hour.

What should I do if I have a bad experience?

If, unfortunately, one of us acts poorly, please email or call one of the pastors, and we will do what we can to make it right.

What about becoming a member?

You should not feel rushed to become a member. We hope you feel comfortable visiting with us and checking things out here. When it comes time to make the decision, please feel free to contact any of our staff or elders.

What are ABFs?

ABF’s (Adult Bible Fellowships) are small communities within a church. Most begin with informal conversation and the sharing of prayer requests. This is followed by an interactive teaching time led by the teacher. Click here to learn more about ABF's at The Chapel.

How do I learn more about The Chapel?

Feel free to talk with one of our staff or volunteers at the time of your visit. Also email us or call the church office at 269-429-1041 for more detailed information about the various ministries of The Chapel.
